Katuka refutes as malicious EL’s claims against military officers

The UPND says President Edgar Lungu is being malicious to suggest that it is in receipt of cv’s from military officers who want to be considered for promotion in the event of regime change.

UPND Secretary General Stephen Katuka says it is not true that military personnel from all security wings have been submitting their Curriculum Vitaes to his party.

Mr. Katuka states that as chief executive officer of the party, he is not aware of any military officer that has solicited for a promotion in the event that the UPND forms government.

He has however, told q-news that the UPND does not see anything wrong with officers aspiring for senior positions.

Mr. Katuka states that his party believes that people should be ambitious in life.
