NAREP to attend Friday’s Church led consultative meeting

The opposition National Restoration Party (NAREP) has confirmed participation in the consultative meeting called by the three church mother bodies in Lusaka at 14:30hrs on Friday today.

In tweet, NAREP agreed with the CCZ,  the EFZ and ZCCB, that the meeting consultative meeting goes on as scheduled whether the ruling Patriotic Front attends or not.

And Opposition Patriots for Economic Progress (PeP) president Sean Tembo has urged the Zambia Centre for Interparty Dialogue (ZCID) to comply with the notice given by three church mother bodies.

Mr. Tembo says this is especially that it has already been unanimously resolved the Church will lead and chair the dialogue process.

He states that as the co-organizer of the dialogue process the ZCID needs to respect decision made by the church mother bodies.
