Opposition parties urged to provide checks and balances

Opposition political parties in the country have been advised to offer constructive criticism to the government.

Patriotic front youths in Chililabombwe Youth Chairman Samson Chisambo has reminded opposition political leaders that they have an important role in national development and that is to offer credible checks and balances to the government.

Mr. Chisambo says it is also important for opposition leaders to offer alternative solutions to the challenges that Zambian people are facing as opposed to negatively continue to criticize without meaningful development.

He has told QTV news that his party remains the most attractive party for all as evidenced from the massive developmental projects doted across the country by President Edgar Lungu.

Mr. Chisambo says it is for this reason he is calling on opposition political leaders to exercise mature and issues based politics that can unity and develop Zambia.
