Late H.W Bush was shining example of service – Lungu

President Edgar Lungu has conveyed his heartfelt condolences to U.S President Donald and the Bush family on the passing away of former U.S President George H.W Bush who died on 30^th November,2018.

President Lungu says it’s with a deep sense of sorrow that he learnt of the death of President Bush.

In his message of condolences, President Lungu says President Bush senior will be remembered for his persistent fight for peace, security and stability in the world which he made with dedicated service throughout his tenure.

He has described President Bush as a patriot who served as a shining example of service to country with humility, grace and decency.

President Lungu says Zambia joins the rest of the world in mourning a distinguished leader.

He prays that the Almighty God grants the bereaved family and the people of the United States of America, strength and comfort during this difficult moment.
