Shimunza extols Lungu’s commitment to National Dialogue

The Zambia Center for Interparty Dialogue (ZCID) and Church Mother bodies have continued to receive commendations from stakeholders for agreeing to work together in the national dialogue process.

Movement for National Transformation (MNT) President Daniel Shimunza has also praised President Edgar Lungu for ensuring that national dialogue does not delay any further.

In a walk-in interview, Mr. Shimunza has reminded president Lungu to always remember that management of the nation’s affairs requires prioritizing peace, security and unity.

And Mr. Shimunza has commended the Zambia police for the manner they handled the questioning of UPND leader Hakainde Hichilema.

He since implored other opposition political parties to help in maintaining peace and unity in the country.
