Dialogue, the only solution to tension- ZCCB

vlcsnap-2018-11-17-19h13m06s274Zambia Conference of Catholic Bishops (ZCCB) President Bishop George Lungu led catholic nuns from across the country and beyond, in mass to celebrate the 60 years existence of the Zambia Association of Sisterhood (ZAS).

The mass held at Lusaka’s Roma Parish to mark ZAS jubilee celebration was characterized with songs and dances and jubilation.

And in his homily, Bishop Lungu has hinted dialogue, forgiveness and reconciliation as solutions to whatever tension that may exist in any community.

Bishop Lungu notes that the absence of the three principles is a danger to the peace of any society.

He has since encouraged the sisterhood in the country to embrace dialogue, reconciliation and forgiveness in overcoming the threat that may come as a result of the failure to adhere to these tenets.

Meanwhile ZCCB Director for the religious, Bishop Patrick Chisanga has urged government to give maximum support to the works of Zambia Association of Sisterhood (ZAS).

Bishop Chisanga who is also Mansa Diocese Bishop observes that a mark has been left everywhere ZAS has worked hence the need for all stakeholders to partner with the association.

And ZAS outgoing chairperson sister Mariana Bbalo has disclosed that the association plans to extend its infrastructure so that it can increase the number of enrolments in its institutions.
