The Ministry of Finance has completed the development and printing of the first economic report in Braille.

Braille is a tactile writing system used by people who are visually impaired and is traditionally written on embossed paper.

Ministry of Finance Public Relations Officer, Chileshe Kandeta says Minister of Finance Margaret Mwanakatwe will soon launch the Braille version of the annual economic report.

Mr. Kandeta says for the ministry, this is an exciting development as it avails people who are visually impaired an opportunity to access literature on economic affairs.
