General Education Minister David Mabumba says investigations into examinations malpractice that resulted in the suspension of the grades,7,9 and 12 final examinations will be concluded within the course of November.

Mr. Mabumba says the action that will be taken against those found wanting will send a signal to those who would want to and who engage in exam malpractice.

Delivering a ministerial statement in parliament, Mr. Mabumba called on members of parliament to assist the ministry in identifying those that engage in examination malpractices and in spreading the message on the effects of pupils or teachers engaging in such vices.

The minister has since stated that the ministry is not apologetic over its decision to suspend the examinations as it was meant to send a warning and signal to those engaging in exam malpractice that government is determined to curb the vice and ensure that those involved are brought to book.
