PF lied to ascend to power-Chikuse

Governance activist Leslie Chikuse has insisted that the ruling Patriotic Front lied its way into power and added that such a conduct by the Pf is dangerous for the country’s democracy.

Mr. Chikuse has reminded the PF leadership that the movement for Multi-Party Democracy (MMD) lost the 2011 elections because the ruling patriotic front gave Zambians enormous promises.

He has told QTV news that the Patriotic Front gave unrealistic and deceitful campaign promises especially about putting people’s money into their pockets when they have introduced so many taxes making it more difficult for Zambians to survive.

Mr. Chikuse has noted that the PF government is struggling to implement the enormous promises it gave to Zambians prior to the elections.

And Mr. Chikuse has challenged government to develop a sound policy framework that aims at uplifting the livelihoods of citizens.
