Lungu observes National Day of Prayer in Kabwe

President Edgar Lungu is among Christians of different denominations that are observing this year’ National Day Of Prayer in Kabwe, Central Province.

President Lungu has been accompanied by among others first lady Esther Lungu at the commemoration being held at railways grounds in Kabwe.

And in Lusaka Vice President Inonge Wina has graced the National Day Of Prayer commemoration which is being held at the National House of Prayer premises in woodlands.

First and former Republican President Kenneth Kaunda and MMD faction leader Nevers Mumba are among the notable people in attendance.

This year’s national day of prayer is being observed under the theme: “facing the future as a Reconciled, United and Prosperous Nation under God’s Guidance”.

The theme scriptures are 2nd Corinthians Chapter 5 verses 19-21 and John Chapter 3 verse 2.
