Veep encourages youths to realise the future lies in their hands

vlcsnap-2018-10-17-20h02m13s435Vice president Inonge Wina has encouraged the young generation to realise that the future of the world lies in their hands.

Mrs. Wina says this responsibility however requires them to work extremely hard to achieve the best that they are capable of.

She states that this is while whilst remaining focused and sensitive to the needs of others , especially the underprivileged.

Mrs. Wina states that government on its part, does, through the 7th national development plan, promote the inculcation of national values and principles.

She says these national values and principles are what brings about understanding and dissemination of ethics as enshrined in Republican Constitution.

Mrs. Wina said this in a speech read for her Minister in the Office of the Vice President Sylvia Chalikosa during the Zambia-United Nations Day celebrations at the International School of Lusaka.

Speaking at the same event Head of the International School of Lusaka Mark Fox says his school emphasises on things that unite pupils rather than what divides them.

He says the school is therefore part of Zambia’s development initiatives.
