Zambia should never learn politics from China – Shimunza

The Movement for National Transformation (MNT) says the only thing it thinks Zambia should learn from China is its system of economics and not politics.

MNT leader Daniel Shimunza says a democratic Country like Zambia should never learn politics from a communist Country.

Mr. Shimunza says his party is therefore against the Zambian government’s plan twin provinces with China.

In an interview with Q-News Mr. Shimunza states that what the government should instead focus on in its friendship with the Chinese government is technology and skills transfer.

Mr. Shimunza says advancement in technology is what the MNT thinks will make Zambia a formidable force to reckon with both in the region and across the world.

He says this is why his party wants to pursue a transformative agenda of innovative systems to enable Zambia become a start-up nation.
