Lafarge pumps K100, 000 in 2018 Stanbic bank Music Festival

vlcsnap-2018-10-01-14h06m00s478Lafarge Zambia has contributed 100,000 kwacha towards the hosting of the 2018 Stanbic bank Music festival.

Speaking during the handover ceremony of the K100, 000 cheque at the Lafarge offices in Chilanga, Lafarge Zambia PLC Chief Executive Officer Vincent Bouckaert says the contribution is aimed at assisting in the promotion of local talent in the country.

Mr. Bouckaert states that the contribution demonstrates how grateful Lafarge is to its loyal customers.

He has acknowledged Stanbic Bank’s pro-activeness in engaging corporates such as Lafarge in making a difference through music.

Mr Bouckaert has since reiterated the company’s commitment to contributing effectively to improving the quality of life and social status of the members of its workforce, their families and the communities around its operations.

And Stanbic Bank Zambia Director of Corporate and Investment Banking, Helen Lubamba has thanked Lafarge for the contribution and partnership in sponsoring the event as a silver sponsor.

Ms Lubamba says the Stanbic bank music festival has over the years grown and is bound to grow even bigger with partnerships such as the one with Lafarge.

The 2018 Stanbic bank music festival which will be held on the 5th and 6th October will host international artists, Brian McKnight and Joe Thomas who will be supported by various local artists.
