Parking rules for Civil Servants coming -Mutati

Minister of Works and Supply Felix Mutati

Works and Supply Minister Felix Mutati says government will next month issue a circular that will clearly state the parking rules and slots at government buildings.

Mr. Mutati says it has been observed that with time, there has been an increase in vehicles requiring parking space at government buildings and this has resulted in non availability of parking space.

Mr. Mutati says the circular will clearly state where those in higher rankings from director going upwards are expected to park and where the ordinary civil servants and clients will be expected to park.

The minister was responding to concerns raised by members of parliament on non availability of parking space in most government institutions.

And Mr. Mutati says government is already undertaking expansions especially in parking areas at most government buildings so as to accommodate more cars, for both civil servants and clients.
