Minister of Agriculture Michael Katambo has urged framers under the Farmers Input Support Programme (FISP) to be patient as the programme will start soon.
Mr. Katambo says government is still determined to ensure that all the farming inputs reach the farmers on time this year.
He says there is however a slight delay as his Ministry is still waiting for the Ministry of Finance to make funds available in the accounts of various financial institutions government has engaged under FISP.
Mr. Katambo says the rolling out of FISP will therefore commence as soon as funds are made available.
He notes that suppliers have however already placed inputs in designated sites around the Country.
