The Civil Society For Poverty Reduction (CSPR) Executive Director Patrick Nshindano has urged government to distribute national development equally to parts of Zambia regardless of which political party represents a particular area.

Mr. Nshindano has told QTV news in an interview that national development should be used to tackle poverty and inequality which he says remains widespread especially in rural parts of the country.

During campaigns in the just ended local government by elections in North Western Province, Vice President Inonge disclosed that some parts of the country are not developed because they are  represented by the opposition.

Meanwhile Mr. Nshindano has advised government to be providing information on the type of development being undertaken in every part of the country.

He says government needs to demonstrate that it is delivering development in line with the seventh national development plan (7ndp).

Mr. Nshindano has also observed that providing information on every developmental project being conducted in constituencies is key.
