UPND to seek legal action on illegal land allocation to foreigners

vlcsnap-2018-09-08-07h57m32s146United party for national development (UPND) Chairperson for Lands Adrian Bauleni has disclosed that his party will seek legal action on illegal land allocation to foreigners by government.

Mr. Bauleni is shocked on the continued illegal sale of huge pieces of land to foreigners in rural area.

He has told journalist at a media briefing that there is need for tradition leaders in the country to resist the allocation of huge chunks of land to foreigners orchestrated by government.

Mr. Bauleni has however accused the ruling Patriotic Front (pf) administration of exchanging the financial support from Chinese nationals with huge portions of land at the expense of indigenous Zambians.

He says traditional leaders and the nation at large should look at the long term effect of entrusting land in the hands of foreigners which government is not paying attention to.

The UPND land chairperson has stated that the issuance of land to foreigners seems to be unstoppable going by the rapid pace the activity is being done.
