Over 600 expected to attend WED forum in Zambia

Over 600 participants are expected to attend the World Export Development Forum to be hosted by Zambia from the 11th to the 12th of September this year.

The Forum which is being hosted in collaboration with the International Trade Centre will be held under the theme: Scaling Up Through Trade; Skills, Innovate and connect.

Commerce Permanent Secretary Kayula Siame says government is hopeful that at the end of the two days forum, business deals and transactions will be secured while letters of intent should also be signed.

Mrs. Siame has told a media briefing that they will be other sidelines events during and after the forum such as the Chinese Investment Forum and field visits to the Lusaka South Economic Multi facility Zone.
