The BuyZed campaign has formally written to the Ministry of Commerce for a possible partnership in the promotion locally produced products.
Founder Evans Ngoma says the Ministry has since responded in letter that was written to his organization on the 28th of August this year.
Mr. Ngoma has disclosed to QTV News to this effect on Wednesday the 6th of September, his organization was given an audience by the Ministry to give details of what it intends to do.
He says the response from the Ministry was positive as it also acknowledged the huge space there is still in the promotion of locally produced products in Zambia.
Mr. Ngoma says BuyZed is therefore hopeful a deal will be clenched between it and the Ministry of Commerce.
He says the idea of this requested partnership is to ensure that Zambian products begin to compete favorably with other imported products.
