ZCID engages Ministry of Justice over Amendment Bill

The Zambia Center for Interparty Dialogue (ZCID) has formally engaged the Ministry of Justice to release the Constitution Amendment Bill .

Spokesperson Jackson Silavwe has told  QTV News in an interview  the ZCID has resolved that it is high time the amendment bill is made public for further deliberation by the general public.

Mr. Silavwe observes that there is a lot of work that needs to be done in constitutional reforms hence the need to have the bill released  before it is taken to Parliament.

He is hopeful that the Ministry of Justice will quickly give its position on the matter.

Mr. Silavwe says that Zambians have a lot of expectations from the constitution reforms.
