Longa donates items worth over k5000 to Kabwata clinic

Patriotic Front Kabwata ward six councillor Longa Chiboboka has noted the need for stake holders to supplement government efforts in the delivery of quality health care.

Speaking when he made a donation of assorted items worth close to K10,000 to Kabwata clinic, Mr. Chiboboka said government’s delivery of quality healthcare can be supplemented by well wishers through donations of items which clinics and hospitals can’t afford.

Mr. Mr. Chiboboka has disclosed that the donation of assorted items which include, mattresses, pillows, toiletries and waste bins was facilitated by the help of corporate entities, the council and personal funds by from his own pocket.

He says the donation is in response to a plea made by the clinic for assistants in addressing various challenges being faced at the health institution.

And Kabwata clinic sister in charge Phidelina Kunda has appealed to other well wishers to come on board and assist the clinic  to address various challenges affecting delivery of quality health care.
