Kansanshi Mining PLC Public relations Manager Godfrey Msiska says that the mining firm is committed to leaving its catchment area better a place that it found it.
Recently save Environment people agency expressed fear that Northwestern Province Risks becoming a ghost town if mining firms are not investing in infrastructure development.
Mr. Msiska however, a says the mining firm is making frantic efforts to better the lives of people, through employment creation.
He has revealed that the miming firm has employed more than 9 thousands workers in Solwezi in Northwestern province.
Mr. Msiska has reiterates that the mining firm is within its policy frame work of empowering people with employment.
