OYV pledge to support to the church

Operation Young Vote (OYV) has pledged its support to the church as it leads the much anticipated dialogue process.

OYV Executive Director, Guess Nyirenda says the move by the church to pull out of the ZCID led dialogue is long overdue.

Mr. Nyirenda says the invitation of the church and cohesing it to work under ZCID was a move meant to paint a picture that the process was genuine when in fact not.

He has emphasized that the church has the capacity to lead the dialogue process stating that by nature it has a mandate to undertake dialogue and reconciliation which it does on a daily basis.

Mr. Nyirenda says it’s therefore only right to allow the church to lead the dialogue process.
