PF Secretary General Davies Mwila
The ruling Patriotic Front (PF) has adopted Auxensio Banda as its candidate for the September 6th Kasenengwa Parliamentary by-election.
Briefing the media ,PF Secretary General Davis Mwila has disclosed that 17 candidates applied for adoption but the party has settled for Mrs. Banda.
Mr. Mwila says those who were not picked should however remain loyal and support the candidate the party has chosen.
And Mr. Mwila has reiterated that his party will ensure that no political violence is recorded during and after the by-elections.
The Kasenengwa Parliamentary seat fell vacant following the death of then area Member of Parliament and Minister of Gender Victoria Kalima two months ago.
