UPND has already conceded defeat – PF

The Ruling Patriotic Front says UPND leader Hakainde Hichilema’s call for the suspension of the scheduled elections in the country is an indication that the UPND has already conceded defeat in the forthcoming by elections.

Mr. Hichilema has proposed the suspension of the scheduled elections in the country until political players and all stakeholders in the political arena agree to the creation of a peaceful environment to protect and preserve the lives of citizens.

PF Media Director Sunday Chanda says Mr. Hichilema has acknowledged that his party has conceded defeat even before the people have not yet voted.

He says the only way the UPND can do if they want to survive in this political arena is to go for a convention and seek new blood.

Mr. Chanda has expressed optimism that the ruling party will win the July 26, 2018 by- elections.

Mr. Chanda says the calls bonders on nothing and childish propaganda coming from an opposition who knows that he has lost all the by-elections.

According to Mr. Chanda, the party is fully on ground and will win all the by-elections without fail.
