The Zambia Council for Social Development (ZCSD) has warned that any maneuvers by any political party to manipulate National Dialogue Leadership would jeopardize the achievements the country has attained so far.

ZCSD Executive Director Lewis Mwape says the Zambian people are watching and will judge for themselves what kind of Political and Religious leaders the country has and the level of patriotism to mother Zambia.

Mr. Mwape says the Zambian People have also placed every trust and confidence in the Church Leadership to help bring back the lost brotherhood, sisterhood as well as the unity that has existed as one Zambia, one Nation and one people.

Speaking during a media briefing in Lusaka, Mr. Mwape says the state of affairs has been fractured by selfish leaders that have emerged as politicians on the Zambian political scene.

He has however advised the church not to be tempted to rob the Zambians of peace, unity, the political and economic emancipation of the country stressing that the National Dialogue should achieve its intended purposes.

And speaking at the same event, on behalf of the 806 citizens of Zambia, Nicholas Phiri called upon the speaker of the National Assembly to order and direct that the impeachment motion be tabled at the next session of the house scheduled to commence in June 2018.
