The Church in Zambia has been called upon not to hesitate to rebuke both the ruling and opposition political parties when they go wrong.

Movement for National Transformation (MNT) President Daniel Shimunza says the church is the major stakeholder in terms of promoting peace and unity in the country hence the need for them not to be compromised.

Mr. Shimunza states that in so far as where the dialogue process is concerned, the church is expected to take center stage and avoid supporting either the ruling party or opposition political party.

He says the church should inspire the people by being neutral and providing guidance on national matters.
