IBA called upon to pronounce itself on continued unfair coverage by the public broadcaster

B ChangalaThe Independent Broadcasting Authority (IBA) has been called upon to pronounce itself on the continued complaints of unfair coverage by the public broadcaster.

Civil rights activist Brebner Changala is concerned that the IBA seems to be paying a deaf ear to complaints by the opposition political parties in the Country.

Mr. Changala wonders why the IBA is seen to act swiftly against privately owned media institutions when some public media institutions are equally breaching ethics of election coverage.

He tells Q-news that the IBA should prove to the Zambian people that it is relevant by taking action.
