The Zambia Revenue Authority (ZRA) has assured stakeholders that it is working expeditiously to ensure that the Asycudaworld system is back online within the shortest possible time.
ZRA corporate and communications manager Topsy Sikalinda says authority’s commissioner customs Sydney Chibbabbuka has indicated that the technical team which is on site has been assigned to restore the system.
He says in order to mitigate the challenges that have arisen due to the system failure; ZRA has activated business continuity back up manual system and all customs offices around the country are open the whole day.
He has since asked stakeholders especially traders, transporters and clearing agents to be patient with the authority, while works are being done.
