President Edgar Lungu has been challenged to explain to the nation why he is talking less about corruption when the vice is being said to be a hallmark of his government.

Civil rights activist Brebner Changala does not think it is right for President Lungu to ask the Zambian people to espouse national values when he himself is allowing corruption to thrive.

Mr. Changala has wondered how the President can urged people to live a holy life in a Country that has allegedly become what he has referred to as a dean of thieves and devils.

In an interview with QTV News Mr. Changala has lamented that he has not witnessed the kind of corruption that is being witnessed in Zambia currently.

Mr. Changala has observed that unlike in previous governments,  institutions meant to curb corruption such as the Anti-Corruption Commission (ACC) are in fact a disgrace.

He states that as far as he is concerned the ACC is a useless organ that draws tax payers money for the purposes of allegedly persecuting and prosecuting perceived enemies of the state.
