The ruling Patriotic Front has rebuked the opposition UPND for condemning the suspension of the tabling of the Constitution amendment bill as directed by President Edgar Lungu until after the impending dialogue process is completed.

PF Media Director Sunday Chanda says not long ago Leader of Government Business in Parliament Jack Mwiimbu indicated that the UPND MPs will not support the bill when brought into parliament not until dialogue takes place.

Mr. Chanda says the UPND is being unrealistic for changing goal posts with regards the holding of the national dialogue meeting.

He also charges that the UPND is obsessed with the international community spearheading the dialogue process saying this is just one way of wanting to shun the process.

Mr. Chanda says even the Commonwealth has made it clear that the process should be home grown and wonders why the UPND is playing hide and seek games with regards the holding of the meeting.

He says the people of Zambia will judge the UPND’s intentions over dialogue.
