Bwana Mukubwa PF Member of Parliament Dr. Jonas Chanda
Bwana Mkubwa Member of Parliament Dr. Jonas Chanda has reassured residents in his Constituency that the PF government is on course to construct more new tarred roads in the area as evidenced by the just newly constructed Chirundu and Dambo roads in Mushili township, and Magezi and Chipata roads in Ndeke township.
Dr Chanda remarks that the newly constructed roads, unlike past road constructions, all come with modern drainage systems.
And Dr Chanda has disclosed Ndola City Council engineers just informed him that construction of the 4.32 km Katondo Road in Bwana Mkubwa mine area, a 1.5 km road at Old Mushili Market and the 1.5 km New Mushili Clinic Access Road will START between August – November 2018 under the ongoing Poly Technologies Road Project.
He says other township roads are being constructed under the PAVE Zambia Road Project which had slowed due to rains.
Meanwhile, the Lawmaker says he is actively engaging with Ministry of Housing and Infrastructure Development, Road Development Agency (RDA) and Ndola City Council to ensure that Bwana Mkubwa Constituency gets a huge portion in the upcoming.
