ActionAid Zambia Country Director Nalucha Ziba
ActionAid Zambia has called on government to ensure that it tables fiscal laws before parliament as it resumes its sitting in the coming weeks.
ActionAid Zambia Country Director Nalucha Ziba tells QTV Business News that these laws include the amendment of the Public Procurement Act and Budget and Planning Act among other fiscal laws.
Ms Ziba says if these are addressed, this will result in the promotion of transparency and accountability in the management of public resources.
She says these fiscal laws have a huge bearing on prudent management of public funds.
And Ms Ziba says her organization is also not expecting parliament to table the cyber bills saying there was no wider consultations on the part of government on these bills.
