Health Minister Chitalu Chilufya says his ministry is on course in completely combating the outbreak of cholera which broke out in October last year.

Dr Chilufya SAYS cholera cases have continued recording a downward trend with 10 or FEWER CASES recorded weekly.

He has explained that the ministry has not relented in enhancing the preventive measures that it put in place and will remain in place until the outbreak is completely eradicated.

Dr Chilufya has encouraged members of the public to continue observing hygienic practices in their daily undertakings so as to compliment government’s efforts in completely eradicating the scourge.

He is however, happy that activities around the country and in Lusaka in particular which recorded the highest cases of cholera have gone back to normal.
