Kambwili fails to meet some of the bail conditions.

Roan Member of Parliament Chishimba Kambwili yesterday failed to meet some of the bail conditions.

Mr Kambwili was granted a K10, 000 cash bail with two surities by Lusaka Magistrate Mwaka Mikalile.

But as at 17:00 hours, Mr Kambwili haD not met all the bail conditions meaning he would have to be remAnded in custody.

This predicament resulted in his supporters trying to whisk away the roan mp but police blocked this attempt.

one of his lawyers GILBERT PHIRI however, stated that his client was still not well and needED to be taken to the hospital

Mr Kambwili HAD EARLIER, pleaded not guilty to 34 counts of being in possession of properties reasonably suspected to be proceeds of crime.

Magistrate Mikalile has since set 4^th June,2018 as the trial date, with 30^th April and 28^th May as the dates for mention.
