TIZ urges PF, UPND to put Zambia first

Transparency International Zambia (TIZ) has appealed to the Patriotic Front and the United Party for National Development to put the interest of the Zambian people first by ensuring that the impending dialogue process yields expected results.

TIZ Executive Director Wesley Chibamba tells Q-News that this is considering that both parties share a common goal of seeing Zambia develop.

He says Transparency International Zambia is happy with impending dialogue because political dialogue is a tenet of democracy.

Mr. Chibamba says the two parties should put their partisan and selfish interests aside in order for the dialogue process to be a success.

He has also expressed confidence that the facilitators of the dialogue will process will be as objective as possible in order for the process to yield the desired outcome.
