Mulenga refuse to meet ZNBC workers in presence of private media

Government has released K10.6 million to the Zambia National Broadcasting Corporation (ZNBC) towards workers’ salaries.

In a statement, Ministry of Information and Broadcasting Services Acting Permanent Secretary Beaton Kaluba says the response from the Government is a subvention to cushion the national broadcaster from the financial challenges it is experiencing.

Mr Kaluba says the Government funding will help the Corporation during the transition period while the new Television levy measures are being finalized.
