The new congress party (NCP) has condemned united party for national development (UPND) members of parliament who walked out of parliament during the presentation of national health insurance bill.

Party leader Peter Chanda has described the move as irresponsible.

He says the move signified that the UPND do not understand their role in parliament.

Mr. Chanda has expressed displeasure with the behavior of the opposition MPs stating that they shouldn’t have walked out considering the fact that the bill will be beneficial to the entire nation.
