Kaputa Member of Parliament Maxus Ng’onga has called on government to consider working on economical roads in Kaputa as well as those that connect with other districts.

Mr. Ng’onga says due to the high rainfall received in Kaputa this season, roads including the main have been destroyed making the lives of Kaputa residents difficult.

He says plans to put up better roads in his constituency have been on paper for over six years with nothing being done to commence the works.

Meanwhile Mr. Ng’onga says he is happy with other developmental projects taking place in his constituency.

He says Kaputa previously had no high school making it difficult for most pupils to access secondary education.

Mr Ng’onga says four basic schools have since been upgraded to secondary schools which will enable most pupils to get into secondary school.
