Business and Financial Analyst Blessings Kafwanka has encouraged the Zambia Revenue Authority (ZRA) to continue working on modalities to expand its tax base.
Mr. Kafwanka says it is for this reason that he is pleased with the move by the authority to enforce the law for all landlords and tenants to register so that they start paying withholding tax on rental income.
Mr. Kafwanka says this is one of the ways of expanding its tax base for the sole purpose of collecting enough revenues.
He tells QTV Business News that the stakeholders have been complaining that the authority’s tax base is narrow saying this is the sure way of broadening the tax base.
