Chiengi Member of Parliament Given Katuta
Chiengi Member of Parliament Given Katuta has lamented that no single health post out of the thirteen earmarked to be constructed in Chiengi under the 650 health posts to be constructed countrywide has been done.
Ms Katuta tells QTV News that the only progress made is the construction of the slabs.
She says the people of Chiengi lack access to good health services, thus the need to ensure that these health posts are constructed.
Ms Katuta adds that even the Chiengi District Hospital is in a deplorable state and requires a facelift.
The Chiengi lawmaker has since appealed to the Ministry of Health to speed up the construction works on the health posts in her constituency.
