Youth Aid Chairperson Chungu Kachenga has proposed that Citizens Economic Empowerment Commission (CEEC) should be probed because it is a loophole for corruption and is not free from political interference in its operations.
Mr. Kachenga says CEEC was created to provide financial opportunity for the Zambians with good business propositions that will generate revenue and create employment.
He says it is unfortunate that the institution has been used as a political pawn therefore making it vulnerable to corruption and political interference making it incredible and a loophole for corruption.
Mr. Kachenga has challenged the commission to tell Zambians what strides and achievements the commission has made to create employment and opportunity for the youths because unemployment is at its highest especially among the youth.
He has told q-news that the commission has only provided loans to a few political party carders which has resulted into misappropriation funds.
Meanwhile Mr. Kachenga has accused President Edgar Lungu of embracing liars and bootlickers who constantly lie to him with Cinderella stories about his performance as head of state.
He says the economic and social state of affairs in Zambia leaves much to be desired as many Zambians have resorted to hopelessness by the state of confusion in Zambia especially the economic confusion and unearthed corruption.
Mr. Kachenga says this will cost the patriotic front in the 2021 election suggesting that the youths have become fed up of government.
