ConCourt asked to give guidance on how ministers will pay back

United Party for National Development (UPND) National Women’s Chairperson Namakau Kabwiku has called on the Constitutional Court to provide further guidance on how the Ministers who remained in office after the dissolution of Parliament will pay back the money they received.

Mrs. Kabwiku says this is considering that the Ministers have remained adamant.

She has tells Q-news that the ministers should be made to pay back the money so that it can be channeled to other developmental projects.

Mrs. Kabwiku has wondered why the Ministers are refusing to abide by the same laws they made in Parliament.

Justice Minister Given Lubinda recently told Q-news that the enforcement of a Constitutional Court ruling that found 96 ministers wanting will be done once government concludes studying legal ramifications.
