TIZ calls on govt to stop vilifying whistle blowers

Transparency International Zambia (TIZ) has called on the government to stop vilifying corruption whistle blowers.

TIZ Executive Director Wesley Chibamba says the tendency of labeling corruption whistle blowers as villains for telling the truth should come to an end.

Mr. Chibamba says it makes sad reading to note that those who have come out strongly on the fight against corruption have been painted black and considered to be working against the government.

He states that there are a number of things that are going wrong in government which need to be exposed.
