Political Scientist Dr. Alex Ng’oma
Political Scientist Dr. Alex Ng’oma has urged political parties in the country to avoid making political mileage out of a disaster.
Dr. Ng’oma says the case in point is the issue of Cholera which some politicians are politicizing, saying these are national matters that need concerted efforts.
He says whenever a nation is confronted with a tragedy like Zambia at the moment it is confronted with cholera it is important for political players to avoid politicizing such situations.
He says what is required is a situation where people rise to the occasion join hands and provide answers to the problem that way it shows leadership.
Dr. Ng’oma says this is not the time to mock those that are in leadership that they have failed or they are not leading the country properly.
He was speaking in a phone interview with QFM.
