The Transparency International Zambia (TIZ) says former Foreign Affairs Minister Harry Kalaba may have the truth on his corruption allegations but does not have the capacity to substantiate his claims.

The organization has also castigated government for intimidating whistle blowers saying this is not working well in terms of fighting corruption.

TIZ Executive Director Wesley Chibamba says Mr. Kalaba has failed to substantiate his corruption allegations against the PF Government.

He says this is because corruption claims especially on government are difficult to deal with especially when one does not have the full capacity to produce evidence.

He tells Q News that it is however unfair for those in government to continue castigating whistle blowers and asking them to produce evidence, when it’s the Anti Corruption Commission (ACC)’s mandate to do so.
