Chikuse cautions politicians against politicizing Cholera

Governance Activist Leslie Chikuse has called on Zambians to stop politicizing the recent outbreak of cholera in some parts of the country.

Mr. Chikuse says those blaming the Lusaka mayor Wilson Kalumba are being petty and seeking undue attention in the current situation.

He has told q-news that the Lusaka mayor is not to blame for the outbreak.

Mr. Chikuse says the Lusaka mayor has plans for this country and must be supported by all well-meaning Lusaka residents.

He has called on all Zambians to support Mr. Kalumba in his effort drive to recreate, regenerate and resuscitate the Lusaka city.

Mr. Chikuse says the challenges which the city has been facing have been there for decades and that cannot be solved overnight.

Meanwhile Mr. Chikuse says the fight against cholera should not be left to the military alone but all stake holders.
