ZCID to hold Summit of Presidents

The Zambia Center for Inter Party Dialogue (ZCID) has set 22nd December as the date to hold a summit of all presidents of political parties leading to the political dialogue being spearheaded by the Commonwealth.

ZCID Executive Director Monica Kanjimana has told QTV News that on the 21st of December, the Secretary Generals of all political parties will meet to deliberate on issues they want the presidents to look at such as social, economical and political matters.

Ms Kanjimana says the actual summit of the presidents will be on December 22nd, 2017 after a meeting of party Chief Executive Officers.

She says the summit is a great forum for political party leaders to interact and look at how they can move as a united political front.

Meanwhile, the ZCID Executive Director has observed that 2017 has been full of political muddles.

Ms Kanjimana feels that this is the more reason why political party leaders are encouraged to attend as this will set a torn for political dialogue.
