112 year-old Kazungula woman raped

Police in southern province have arrested a 20 year-old man of Kazungula district for raping a 112 year-old woman.

Southern province police commissioner bonnie kapeso told q-news that the incident happened in the early hours of today at around 03:00 hours at the victim’s residence.

Mr kapeso says the accused has since been detained in police custody, while the victim is receiving treatment at mukuni clinic in kkazungula district.

The southern province police chief says a docket has since been opened and that the man will appear in court soon .
