PF Media Team donates to UTH Cancer disease hospital

The Patriotic Front Media Team has today donated assorted items worth over 10 thousand kwacha to the University Teaching Hospitals cancers disease hospital children’s ward as part of giving back to the community during this festive period.

Speaking during the donation PF Media Committee Member Benjamin Siwila said the gesture is aimed at showing that the PF is not only a party for politics but a party that also believes in giving back to the community.

Mr. Siwila says the media team has taken advantage of the festive season to give back to the community as a way of showing love and unity.

He has reiterated that the PF is a party with a heart for the people as is always shown by the president Edgar Lungu who has a heart to help the people including the sick and vulnerable in society.

Mr. Siwila has announced that the next stop for the media team to give to the community will be the Copperbelt province.

And receiving the donation, cancer disease hospital children’s ward public relations officer Terence Nyirongo commended the gesture by the PF media team saying it will address some of the challenges the ward faces in the caring of children suffering from cancer.

Meanwhile some PF members led by Kalingalinga ward 31 councillor Kasongo Chomba today took time to clean up the streets of the central business area in the aim of keeping Lusaka safer and cleaner and reducing on the outbreaks of diseases such as cholera.

Mr. Chomba said the exercise is aimed at changing the mindset of Zambians to being proactive than reactive towards keeping the city clean and reducing on garbage in the city.
